This Vintage ElectroVoice Model 926 arrived in Excellent Cosmetic Condition but the poor old tired crystal element was DOA.  The NOS Shure 99A405 is one that has been in my inventory for several years and I have been waiting for the perfect mic to install it in, and this seemed to be the one.

The element is just under 1" in diameter and the Tone is very similar to the Shure Slim 777 Crystal Microphone (Not really a surprise).  This is an absolutely New-Old-Stock element that has never been used other than to test the element and this microphone after it was installed.

The body of the mic is 5 1/2" in length and the grille is 1 1/4" across at the widest point making it easy to hold and cup the mic in even the smallest of hands.  The original 10' cable is still in excellent condition and is very pliable.  The Vintage Switchcraft 1/4" Female Jack at the end of the cable allows you to plug any 1/4" cable into it to make your connection to your amplifier.

As you can see in the pictures the mic is in excellent condition with only minor surface scratches in the chrome finish and has the original swivel mount so that it can be mounted on a microphone stand.
