Tired of not being heard on stage?
Tired of carrying a monster amplifier to every gig?
Tired of loosing the "I can play louder than you" battle with the guitar player?
Well, those days are over now!
Introducing the
HarpHoundTM
Deluxe Amp 2 PA
With this unit you can actually capture the true tone of your favorite Tube Amplifier, input it to virtually any House PA system and take advantage of the PA power to amplify your Harp Amp to the levels needed to be heard over those dreaded screaming guitars (please don't take offense if you are a guitarist).
Most Harp Players have at least one favorite Single End Tube Amplifier or Vintage PA Head with Absolutely Awesome Tone but not enough power to be heard in anything but the smallest venues.
Now you can have both Tone and Power,
Without investing a Ton of Money in a Huge Amplifier!
This is a fully self contained unit which does not require any external power or battery. It is designed to be easy to setup and use and can be used with any Tube Amplifier which has either a 4 or 8 Ohm Speaker Output Jack. It also has internal 25 Watt, 4 & 8 Ohm resistances which act as the load to protect your Tube Amplifier in the event that there is no speaker connected to the amplifier.
The Deluxe Model also includes the 1/4" to XLR adapter (similar to picture) to allow you to patch into an XLR input if no 1/4" input is available!
Here are the easy steps to set up this simple Amp2PA unit:
1. Use a Speaker Grade 1/4" cable to connect the Speaker Out of your amplifier to the input of the Amp2PA box and set the Internal Resistor selection to match the output of your amplifier jack.
2. Use an instrument grade 1/4" cable to connect the PA Out of the Amp2PA box to the Line-in of the House PA system.
3. If desired, a speaker can be connected to the Speaker Out of the Amp2PA using a Speaker Grade Cable. This speaker can be used as your personal stage monitor.
4. Set the output level to minimum on the Amp2PA and turn on your Tube Amplifier and set it to the settings that you normally use.
5. Work with the house sound man to get the best balance between the PA input level and the output level of the Amp2PA box (keep the volume level of the box below max so that you leave yourself room to go up at least a click or two).
6.Make final adjustments on Tube Amplifier and effects pedals to tune in the Tone and Output level that you need for that particular venue.
7. You are ready to play!
Here are just a few of the advantages of using the Amp2PA Box:
* Excellent volume from a small Tube Amplifier
* Run Tube Amplifier with or without an attached speaker
* No need to mic your amplifier into the PA so you don't have to fight PA feedback and stage noise as you would with a mic in front of your amp
* No need to carry heavy equipment to the gig just to be heard
* Get that Single End Tube Amp Tone which is scalable to any venue by using the House PA system
* You can even feed the Amp2PA output into the mic input of another tube amplifier for a really fat & dirty tone!
