These Shure Commando mics are great Harp Microphones due to the easily cupped mic head and the excellent gritty tone of the Controlled Magnetic element.
This one arrived recently with a weak output so I removed the grille and tuned the element for maximum output and tone!  I have installed a volume control and Switchcraft 1/4" Jack in the stem and installed new acoustic foam under the grille.  The Controlled Magnetic element provides Excellent output and tone.  The volume control and connector are both new and the wiring in the stem is all new also.
The Shure 430 Commando is a High Impedance microphone and the CM element measures 1765 Ohms on a DMM which is pretty typical for these microphones.  They have a nice thick tone similar to the full size Shure CM elements and are really a pleasure to play through.
